Directions and Parking

1. Where is House of Air located?

   House of Air is located at 926 (Old) Mason St in the Presidio of San Francisco.

   ** We ARE located in the Presidio of San Francisco.

   ** We are NOT located in downtown San Francisco at Mason and California Street.

   Beware of GPS and online directions as some will direct you downtown. GPS users should enter either our zip code, 94129, or nearest cross street, Mason Street and Crissy Field Avenue.

   

   Another way to find us is to SEARCH for keyword House of Air in Google Maps.

   FROM the SOUTH - 101, Van Ness Ave

   Travel on 101 Northbound, Van Ness Avenue.
   Turn left onto Lombard Street
   The road will veer right onto Richardson Ave,
   there is a sign for the Golden Gate Bridge.
   Get in the left lane on Richardson - This road will transition to freeway
   Take the left exit "Crissy Field / The Presidio"
   (*this is a new exit and not on most maps)
   Continue straight on Gorgas Ave until road ends
   Turn right onto Halleck St, travel 200 yards
   Turn left on Mason Street, travel about 1 mile
   We are located on the left side of the road. Look for a massive airplane hangar glass front facade.

   FROM the SOUTH - 280, 19th Ave, Park Presidio

   Travel North on Highway 1
   Enter the Presidio on Park Presidio and go through the tunnel.
   Get in the right lane (very important or you'll drive across the bridge!)
   Follow the directions to the Golden Gate Bridge
   As soon as you see the toll booth, take the "Last San Francisco Exit", exit and stay right at the fork
   The short fork / road is Vista Access Road.
   At the stop sign turn left on Lincoln Blvd, travel 0.5 miles
   Turn left on McDowell Ave, travel 100 yards
   At 3rd stop sign, turn right, travel 10 yards - This road is marked Mason St, but acts as a small connector road
   At the next stop sign, take a left turn left on Mason Street
   We are the 3rd building on left - 926 Mason.

   FROM the NORTH - Golden Gate Bridge

   Cross the Golden Gate Bridge and stay in the right most lane
   Go through the right toll booth
   Turn right, 30 yards past the toll booth - The exit is called Merchant Rd
   Go straight, 200 yards
   Turn left on Lincoln Blvd, travel 0.5 miles
   Turn left on McDowell Ave, travel 100 yards
   At 3rd stop sign, turn right, travel 10 yards - This road is marked Mason St, but acts as a small connector road
   At the next stop sign, take a left turn left on Mason Street
   We are the 3rd building on left - 926 Mason.

   FROM the EAST - Bay Bridge

   Off of the Bay Bridge, following signs for US 101 North/Golden Gate Bridge, take exit for Central Freeway
   Take Mission St/US 101 North exit
   Turn left at Van Ness Ave/US 101 Northbound
   Turn left onto Lombard Street
   The road will veer right onto Richardson Ave,
   there is a sign for the Golden Gate Bridge.
   Get in the left lane on Richardson - This road will transition to freeway

   Continue straight on Gorgas Ave until road ends

   Bus Route/Public Transportation

   For those looking to utilize public transportation check out 511.org to see how to best get to Old Mason St and Crissy Field Ave from your location. SF Muni lines 28 and 43 will get you the closest.

   From the 43 Muni line:
   Get off at the Tide Building stop (Presidio Blvd and Letterman Dr)
   Walk North along Lincoln Blvd towards Tomey Ave and the Golden Gate Bridge, travel about 350 yards
   Turn right at Halleck St, travel 350 yards when until Halleck St ends at Mason St
   Turn left at Mason St and walk about 1 mile. We are located on the left side of the road. Look for a massive airplane hangar glass front facade.

   From the 28 Muni line:
   Get off at the Golden Gate Bridge stop
   Follow the path down the hill towards Fort Point
   At the bottom of the stairs, turn right and walk about 500 yards
   Following any path or street, House of Air will be on your right
   

2. Does House of Air have parking?

   Yes. There is free Presidio parking all around our buliding and neighboring buildings. Larger lots are located in both directions on Mason St.
   

   Please allow an extra 10-15 minutes to find parking on weekends.
